Paul McCartney Concert Nail Art

Hello everyone! A couple of nights ago, I got to experience my third Paul McCartney concert. He is probably my favorite artist of all time, and I am a super crazy Beatles fan. I had the best time at the concert, and pretty much cried for the entire time because I am an emotional fangirl who does that whenever I see Paul...or pretty much anything having to do with the Beatles. I cannot tell you how many times I have gone to Las Vegas to see the Cirque du Soleil Love show, and sat there bawling. Yeah, I'm that person.

Anyway, for the show the other night, I wanted to do a special mani to show my love for Macca. This one took me a while to do, but I had some help from my UberChic stamping mat. All of the designs were hand painted, but I made them as decals first so I wasn't sat for hours on end having to worry about drying my nails. I simply applied my DIY decals and cleaned them up. I'm still in the process of learning how to properly apply them, but I love being able to do my freehand art without stressing out about how my left hand is going to look. And what's really great is that if I really mess up, I don't ever have to wipe the whole nail, and start from scratch, waiting for dry times. I can work on my art piece by piece and go back to it if I get called to do other things.

For this look, I used the following:

The Beatles logo
Sally Hansen - Black Out
Liquitex - Basics acrylic paint in Titanium White

Wings logo
OPI - I Just Can't Cope-Acabana
OPI - Call Me Gwen-ever
Logo applied with fine point Sharpie

China Glaze - Ruby Pumps

Sally Hansen - White On

Sgt. Pepper coat
OPI - Dining al Frisco
