Autumn Leaves Nail Art

Well hello, there!

I hope you are all doing well. I took a little break myself. After the nail challenges and some swatching, I needed to kick back for a bit. I'm currently working on some writing projects these days which I had been neglecting for a while, but I'm back, and ready to do some more fun nail stuff. I have some more swatches coming your way, and some new stamping plates to use and do some new nail art with.

In addition to this, I cut all my nails down, and started from scratch. I almost always do this for Halloween as I end up carving so many pumpkins, and it's harsh on my nails. So, instead of having them break or get damaged, I just cut 'em off, and start up again the next day. Right now, I'm in the nub club, but no matter. I can still have fun with some nail art while I wait for my nails to grow.

Today, I did a fall leaves manicure. It was a pretty simple one to do. I did the reverse stamping technique which now only takes about an hour since I have multiple stampers to spread out my work. I haven't yet used the UberChic mat for stamping, though I have used it for detailed freehand work. I don't know why. I'll probably try it out soon, and tell you what I think.

For this manicure, I used the following:

OPI - The "It" Color for the base.
Sinful Colors - Black on Black for stamping.
OPI - It's a Piazza Cake for orange accent.
OPI - Lost on Lombard for red accent.
Sinful Colors - Beau Khaki for the green accent.
Essie - As Gold As it Gets for the gold flake topcoat.
Bundle Monster - Styamping plate BM-H11
