Zoya Naked Manicure Review

Hello beautiful people! So sorry for the delay in posts. I was all set to get back to posting regularly, but then my charge needed extra care recently, so I had to put the blog on the back burner again. I also had to put painting my nails on hold, too. I just got way too busy to really take the time to do my nails, but I'm back in business, and ready to get back to blogging.

Incidentally, this little nail care system came at the right time for me. This is the Zoya Naked Manicure system. It is a great way keep your nails looking great and natural. For someone like me who wears a lot of color, I never let my nails go naked because they're sometimes stained from wearing certain colors even if I wear base coat. (Darn those beautiful blues!) So this manicure set is great to correct the stains and general ugliness of one's natural nails when they don't look their best.

In addition to covering up discolored nails, this system is great for anyone who is trying to grow out their nails, especially those who have suffered any damage from wearing false nails. It is great for anyone who doesn't really want to wear color, or is unable to wear nail color in a professional environment. Also, this is perfect for anyone who wants great looking nails, but doesn't want the hassle of constant maintenance.

Of course, those are the immediate benefits. The long term benefits, according to Zoya, are supporting cellular renewal, improving oxygenation, enhancing flexibility and strength, and increasing hydration and resilience. As I have only used this system for the short term, I cannot say whether or not these claims are true, but the immediate effects are brilliant! At first, I wasn't sure I would like this system, and I wasn't very interested in it. However, this was a free gift with purchase on the Zoya website if I spent $30, so I decided to try it. I was so impressed with this system, that I highly recommend, and would purchase it. It's just a really nice way to make your nails look naturally beautiful, and it really takes no time at all. Everything dries very quickly, and you can be out the door without much fuss.

The Women's Starter Kit includes Naked Base, Pink Perfecter, White Tip Perfecter, and Satin Seal Topcoat. You can also buy the Lavender Perfecter, which helps with discoloration, as well as Perfecters in Nude, Buff, and Mauve separately to match various skin tones.

So, here are the pictures of my nails. The first one is of my naked nails, which actually aren't in too bad a shape at the moment, but they do suffer from a little discoloration, and as you can see, my smile lines are all over the place.

These are my nails after using the Naked Manicure system. The nail beds look nice and evened out, and my free edges look nice and clean. The difference is like night and day.

So that's the Zoya Naked Manicure system. It retails for $30 for the Women's Starter Kit. They also offer a Men's Kit, as well as Professional Kit that includes all of the other shades of Perfecters.

Overall, I really love this set. I only wish they offered an option for the starter kit to either get the Pink Perfecter or one of the darker ones, so that someone who might have a darker skin tone doesn't have to buy their skin tone Perfecter separately while being stuck with a pink tone they may not use.

So that's all for this one. I shall return with more swatches!

  1. I love naked nails! So natural... I like pampering myself and therefore I often visit beauty nails and wax salons to keep my hands, feet and body in perfect shape:)
